2K Games today unveiled the latest scion in the franchise and this game will be released on September 10 for the PlayStation 4 and 5, among others. With this announcement, the publisher has also announced a few things in terms of editions and a trailer should of course not be missing.
Luka Dončić, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Dirk Nowitzki and Kevin Durant are the four iconic players who will grace the game's box art, which varies by edition. As the NBA celebrates its 75th anniversary, 2K Games has enlisted the artist Charly Palmer to create the cover art.
Luka Dončić will grace the Standard Edition and Cross-Gen Digital Bundle, where Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Dirk Nowitzki and Kevin Durant will take care of the NBA 75th Anniversary Edition. The three editions are as follows:
Standard Edition – Available for €69,99 on last-gen platforms (, Xbox One consoles, Nintendo Switch and PC) and for €74,99 on current-gen consoles (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S).
Cross-Gen Digital Bundle – Available for €89.99 and gives players access to the Standard Edition on both charge and next-gen consoles within the same PlayStation and Xbox families.
NBA 2K22 NBA 75th Anniversary Edition – Available for €99.99 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC. Dual-gene is included.
